FIFTH WORLD trio features the musical unity of Will Clipman (Saamokee) --whose style has been honed through more than 20 years of collaboration with notable native performers: R. Carlos Nakai Quartet, Arvel Bird, William Eaton, and Mary Redhouse. The band’s performance is complimented by the stellar didgeridoo and world flute styles of Ash Dargan (Larrakia-Northern Territory). Dargan is a premier and world-class performer in Australian aboriginal world music. Andrew Begay (Dine’) brings his uniquely-native flute music and vocals. In all, FIFTH WORLD offers a world of dynamic rhythmic textures and smooth tribal grooves. FIFTH WORLD delivers music on the cutting edge of a new genre, diving deep into the world of aboriginal and Native American music. The band’s sound embraces both tribal rhythms and classical-lyrical beats that give a new sound and freshness to world music compositions.
