Karnalis

Karnalis got his first Native American flute in March of 2005, and has been playing a great deal ever since. As his collection of Native American flutes grows, so does the development of his talents on this unique instrument, along with his repertoire of original songs and compositions. Karnalis has a flair for the unorthodox in his use of the Native American flute, often combining it in his recordings with other instruments, as well as using it to explore both traditional and contemporary musical styles from many different cultures. Karn uses flutes made by Spring Shine, Geoffrey Ellis, Butch Hall, Scott Kennedy, Dale Robertson of Fallen Branch Flutes, Larry Evans, Dennis Frederiksen of NZT Designs, and even one made by himself (with the help of Raymond Redfeather and Leroy Cully). Karn is a member of the Oklahoma Native American Flute Circle.

Karnalis' second album, "Shadows," is currently available on Napster, Rhapsody, and iTunes (US, UK, and Japan)! Immerse yourself in mesmerizing music inspired by the shadows within and without! Make sure to check out the sampling of songs in the track list below that will appear on Karn's third album, "It's Only Natural," coming soon!
