Angela Harnett

Angela Harnett began playing the flute at the age of nine after hearing a flute player who visited her school. She was enchanted by the sound and playing came naturally, leading to Angela completing the highest grade (grade 8) by the time she was twelve.

Angela went on to achieve a degree in classical music but left university unable to play her flute due to the excessive practice routines and stress of the competitive environment on her course. She was unable to play for eleven years but during this time Angela became interested in meditation, relaxation and wellbeing and it totally changed the path she was previously on.

Not only did she gradually became well enough to play again, but she also composed and recorded her debut album of flute music for relaxation and inner peace. It is Angela's intention to help other people through her music and her story.
