Influenced by the music of R. Carlos Nakai and Scott August, Lorri found the sound of the Native American Flute calming and enchanting. Lorri purchased her first flute in 2006. She is a self-taught Native American flutist. The way of the flute is in her blood for she is of Lakota Sioux and Greek ancestry. Her motto is "To play the flute for hearts that will listen". Lorri performs for several venues in her hometown of Media, Pa. which include the Seven Stones Gallery and Ten Thousand Villages and most recently was invited to play for members of the Cherokee Nation in Browns Mills, NJ. She is a member of the Media Arts Council and the International Native American Flute Association (INAFA). Lorri also owns and operates her own music company called Willow Wind Music. Lorri has currently finished up her first CD entitled "Transcendence" which will be released August 5th 2010.
