Heads up for this year’s World Flute Society Convention. If you’ve been to one of these, you know how great they are. If you haven’t, you don’t know what you’re missing! Since my first time to attend in 2006, I’ve only missed one (and wish I hadn’t). Dates are August 1-5, 2018.
This year’s venue will again be the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire, a very pleasant Midwestern college town. The event features afternoon concerts, big-name evening performances, vendors, workshops, etc. You even have opportunities for private lessons from some of the major names in the business.
