LopingWolf-Las Vegas

Description

Adopted fluties of the larger LopingWolf from Northern California. We are inspired by the music of Mary Youngblood and are infected with the incurable "FLUTE FEVER".

More Information

LopingWolf-Las Vegas meets once a month. We have been conducting our summer flute circles at the home of our resident flute maker, Igor Sedor. Igor's flutes are the easiest flutes to play and they are so beautiful.

Currently we are a small flute circle, but we know that our growth is just around the corner.

LopingWolf-Las Vegas was formed out of a love for the Native American Flute. It was inspired by Mary Youngblood, after my husband and I had the honor of accompanying Mary, the NCFC and LopingWolf to Moaning Caverns. It was a nine hour drive one way, but totally worth it. When we arrived home, we discovered there was not much in this town that honored the Native American Indian, so we took our two flutes and started LopingWolf-Las Vegas.

My husband, Bill "Graywolf" Hironimus, is Seminole, Choctaw and Cherokee and he has discovered his hidden talent of making beautiful flute bags.

We hope to see many of you at Mary's Birthday bash this coming weekend. Blessings, Linda Hironimus
