This Is the Very First "Green Frog Moon Festival", ( the Festival will be held at The Place, where on April 12, 1528

Pamfilo Narvaez, the Spanish Conquistador was the first Contact European to set foot in

The Idea was born through the collaborated efforts of iivash & Yona, who see the need for a way to raise Much Needed Funds for worthy causes,

that would benefit the community as a whole, Having the community directly involved in the organising,

at the same time bringing community together and closer,

The Festival could be called upon throughout the year when ever a need arises

and not be limited to only one cause, once a year. It is set up that 100% of proceeds go toward the worthy causes.

iivash winters in Florida and the summers in Canada, he is busy helping in

both countries to bring awareness of the NAF and the need For closer knit

community, on his return to Canada this spring, will introduce the concept of

"The Green Frog Moon Festival" in that country too.

In the near future Yona will be Moving to Tennessee and will be busy Introducing

the "The Green Frog Moon Festival" and the awareness for the importance of community there also.

It is our goal to have "The Green Frog Moon Festival" known internationally as

a FUNdRAISER for worthy cause that benefit the local community. (not unlike Green Peace)

St. Petersburg, Boca Ciega bay, Florida, March 15 & 16, 2008 PRESS RELEASE EVENT: Green Frog Moon “Music Festival” WHERE: SACRED LANDS - Anderson/Narvaez Mound, 1620 Park St. North, St. Petersburg. Parking entrance is at 1700 Park St. North, The Place where first contact by Europeans in April 12, 1528 Pamfilo Narvaez the Spanish Conquistador first set foot in Florida, the site of a Tocabagan village. WHEN: Saturday and Sunday on March 15th and 16th 2008 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. both days. DESCRIPTION: A Musical event featuring some of the best flutists in the state of Florida. Joseph Z, Dock “Silverhawk”, Gordon Gulledge, Johnny Lipford. , Sweetgrass, Jimmy Payne, NDN Crossing, and Abasi Ote. And some Nationally and Internationally known “Pop In surprise” Celebrity Performers Grand mother June Perry will conduct opening and closing prayer ceremony, Sacred Fire will burn throughout the weekend festival. Chante Ishta of WMNF’s TWO WORLDS SHOW will be the MC. Native Arts and Crafts: Jewelry, Leather Work, Drum making , Flute Making & Gourd Shaker workshops (pre-registration required).

There will be FOOD vendors and FLUTE vendors And vendors of all descriptions.
